Who We Are
I am a residents of the i1 segment on the Bell County East - Big Hill 765kv transmission line project. My segment consists of CR108, CR 109 and FM2340. There are 43 land owners that may have this proposed 765kv transmission line run through their property, should our segment be chosen. BUT due to the placement of the proposed i1 segment, 3 subdivisions will be affected along with ranch land, which means, every time a resident leaves or comes home from Burnet that resident will pass under the transmission lines 3-4 times and drive parallel to the line for 4 - 5 miles along CR108. The true number of people affected by this proposed 765kv transmission lines on the i1 segment is 209.
My name is Marylynne Norman. The website was developed to bring awareness to so many Texans living on different segments that have never received a notice from LCRA or Oncor, that do not have a social media account, and are only finding out about the lines from word of mouth. Unfortunately we find more people every day who are just discovering this project proposed by HB 5066.
The information I provide is not a substitute for securing legal services from an attorney. I am not a lawyer. Information posted here is from the research I have done to help educate Texans on the 765kv project proposed for the Burnet area and all across central Texas into the Permian Basin. If you are looking for additional information please visit the Oncor, LCRA, PUCT or ERCOT websites. This website is a jumping point in your quest for information and helping each other.
If you have social media, our segment has a FB page you can join.
