ORIGINAL PROPOSED MAP
Bell County East - Big Hill
These transmission lines begin at the Bell County East Switch (ONCOR) and runs through the Texas Hill Country to the Big Hill Substation (LCRA). The Big Hill Substation will need to be constructed.
Visit the LCRA website to view an interactive map and locate what segment your land is located.
This is an LCRA/Oncor joint project.

Dinosaur Switch - Longshore Switch
This new switch, Dinosaur, will be built 3 miles North of the city of Glen Rose. The proposed 765kv transmission lines will run through numerous counties and connect into the Longshore Switch. The Longshore switch is owned by Oncor and located in Howard County 4.5 West of the city of Forsan.

Longshore Switch -Drill Hole Switch
This project is being led by Oncor. The Drill Hole switch is situated 6 miles west of Route 285. In order to support the 765kv proposed project, the Drill Hole switch will be expended. Due to the demand by data centers in the Permian Basin, and pulling energy from across Texas, this switch will need to be expanded to handle the load.
